Purpose: Strengthen voting rights by implementing measures to ensure equal access to the ballot for all citizens.
- Provisions: - Automatic voter registration for all eligible citizens at age 18.
- Guarantee the right to vote for all citizens, including those who have completed prison sentences, ensuring no one is permanently disenfranchised due to past incarceration.
- Eliminate the requirement for voters to register under a political party, allowing all citizens to participate in all primary elections, regardless of party affiliation.
- Make Election Day a national holiday to increase voter turnout.
- Mandate standardized early voting periods and mail-in voting in all states.
- Ban partisan gerrymandering by requiring independent, nonpartisan redistricting commissions.
