Purpose: Strengthen voting rights by implementing measures to ensure equal access to the ballot for all citizens.
Provisions:
Automatic voter registration for all eligible citizens at age 18.
Guarantee the right to vote for all citizens, including those who have completed prison sentences, ensuring no one is permanently disenfranchised due to past incarceration.
Eliminate the requirement for voters to register under a political party, allowing all citizens to participate in all primary elections, regardless of party affiliation.
Make Election Day a national holiday to increase voter turnout.
Mandate standardized early voting periods and mail-in voting in all states.
Ban partisan gerrymandering by requiring independent, nonpartisan redistricting commissions.
Prohibit voter ID laws that disproportionately disenfranchise marginalized communities.
